The deed is done!
So Kinetix and Kiwigirl tied the knot, and what a picture perfect day it was. Everything ran smoothly, and despite the unfortunate sprinkle of rain at the beginning of the photos, nothing spoiled what was truely an incredibly special day for us, our families and friends.
The ceremony went without a hitch and despite my initial thoughts of the church not really being my kinda thing, I have to admit it was somewhat magical being married in St Pauls, a church that has so much connection with my husbands family and now becomes our connection too.
Having my Mum, Dad, Sister and Nephew along with my dearest friends Judy and Nicky from New Zealand made the perfect day complete. I do wish more of my family could have been there, but under the circumstances I was lucky to have those that we did.
There is of course a thousand photos, and you can be sure we will try to have the "wedding gallery" online as soon as possible. Our professional photos will be ready soon, and of we will have some of those up as well. We had a mixture of colour and black and white taken, and I can't wait to see our the b&w came out. Kamloops is deep in Canadian rail history, and we found a lovely old railway carriage and some tracks to really bring something special into our pictures.
Our honeymoon of course is on hold until September, when we will be heading down under and home at last for the first time in 5 years for me, I can hardly wait to show off my beautiful country to my hubby. Speaking of my beautiful country, I want to say GO ALL BLACKS GO!!.... let's kick some Lion butt tonight!
